The 20s
José Beltrán Verdú
The Beltrán family’s business history began in the basement of their family home in Petrer, when José Beltrán Verdú decided to make the leap into what was then a booming industry: footwear—more specifically, the manufacture of wooden shoe lasts and heels.
1940
José María Beltrán Beltrán
A new generation took over under the guidance of José María Beltrán Beltrán. It was the difficult postwar years that shaped the company’s resilience. Despite the scarcity of resources, the entrepreneur was able to recognize the opportunities of the moment—from replacing wood with pressed cardboard to reusing fabrics and tarps that had been discarded by the military after World War II.
1958
José Beltrán Díaz
At the age of 20, José Beltrán Díaz took the reins of the company as the third-generation leader. The young man’s remarkable ingenuity propelled the company into the modern era, as he developed new manufacturing techniques never before seen in the industry, such as plastic injection molding, lined soles, and vulcanized soles, among others.
1965
Tacones Beltrán S.L.
The company was reorganized under the name TACONES BELTRÁN, S.L. These were years of growth and innovation. The manager was able to recognize the opportunities of the time, and, together with the hard work of the family and the employees, he led the company to become recognized as one of the leading brands of the era.
Thanks to its ingenuity, the family-owned business took its first steps into the world of special finishes and imitations, making plastic heels look like leather using airbrushing techniques specially designed for that purpose.

José María Beltrán Rico · Industrias Tak S.L.
INDUSTRIAS TAK, S.L. was founded by its current manager, José María Beltrán Rico. A revolutionary vision of the technical approaches to manufacturing at the time propelled the family business into the world of surface finishes and injection molding.
